ITC Mora by Soho Boutique

Aside from providing a coffee machine without coffee (we had 3 rooms, so it wasn’t an anomaly), the hotel was top notch. We could walk from Puerta Atocha after our train from Barcelona (though some did take a €9 taxi), walk to Prado, and walk to Hop On Hop Off buses. Each morning, and some afternoons (open until 18:30) we enjoyed a very good breakfast/lunch at El Patio Vertical just around the corner from the hotel, next to Caixa Forum.

Nice hotel in a great location, just across the Prado Museum and main museums and sightseeings. Rooms do not have small refrigerators, basic amenities. The only problem is that when you book through Expedia, you can only make a reservation. You will have to pay in Euros at the front desk.

The hotel is in a brilliant position, moments from Atocha station and opposite Retiro Park and the botanic gardens. The room was quite small with no view but we were really only there to sleep, which was aided by the efficient aircon. Our towels were changed daily and the overall stay was comfortable, possibly could have been made better by provision of a fridge for cool drinks but there is a small shop seconds away for this! Overall a good choice for a city weekend, walking distance from all most major sights and with public transport very closeby.

Love the people working there, very kind, helpful and respectful. Our room however had very dirty walls and was a little tiny for three people. Also, there was no shampoo in the bathroom.

This hotel is right in the middle of Madrid you can cross the street to a beautiful park and museums. The hotel is very well kept.. bed was a little small for couple but the AC was nice on a hot night…Madrid peaked at 105 that day. Elevator was small but who cares…you are there to see Madrid not elevators

A bargain for Madrid and right across from the lovely botanical gardens. I am not sure why people complained about the air con or the noise. We had an outside end room and noise was never an issue unless you opened a window. The air con worked so well that I had to get up in the middle of the night to turn it off. There was no nepresso machine when we arrived but one was found after we inquired. They do not provide the coffee pods but there is a small market right around the corner. Lovely helpful staff from the desk to woman who cleaned our room. We stayed for 6 nights and never had an issue. Multiple tapas bars that are close by and amazing but stay away from the restaurant Oven. Both the Prado and the Reina Sofia museums are only a couple of blocks away.

Amazing receotionists. The lady that welcomed me when I checked in was amazing and really know how to help you. She should me the route on how to visit all the iconic places and even throw in some free admission hours. The plumbing in my room was an epic fail. Insaw the water from the shower flowwing to the other part of the rest room.

The location is great. We walked from the train station and saw the Botanical garden Christmas lights from our room. The hotel is a bit dated and rooms a little small but the staff is friendly, warm and always helpful. The cafe connected is also wonderful both food and service.

Could not dream of a better location: across from Royal Botanical Garden, 5 minutes walk from the Prado and any kind of restaurant imaginable, less than 10 minutes walk from main train station (Atocha). Very good hotel with friendly staff (upgraded my room without my asking), fine cafe, Only reason for less than perfect rating is electrical systems in rooms are a problem: nowhere to plug in phone charger near bed, outlets don’t work much no matter lights on/off, and tv stopped working after 1st night. Hotel is aware of challenge and this one shortcoming.
