The room itself was in decent shape and cleanliness, but the building showed a lot of deterioration. We booked here for the indoor pool, but the water and pool room temp was too chilly. Hickory Run State Park nearby was beautiful and worth visiting. A lot of businesses in the area are boarded up, and I would guess this hotel will join them which is unfortunate because the staff (owners?) were kind.
This property currently should remove resort from its name as it is hardly a resort. There is no food service since the restaurant and lounge/bar area is closed. The rooms were comfortable but severely dated. The only plus was the convenience and low price for a clean room and comfortable bed for the night.
Surprisingly comfortable stay. The beds are quite nice, and the amenities are plentiful for the price. Did not try the pool, but nice to know it was an option. The building we stayed in was somewhat separate from the main building with the lobby. This included the buildings having individual parking lots, which was nice as you could park your car a very short walk from the building that you are staying in. There are a few fast food options just a couple minutes down the road, consisting of a McDonald's, a Burger King, an Arby's, and a Wawa's. Overall an amenable stay. If you are using it to go to the Camelback Resort for an event, such as we did, be aware that the trip is 30 minutes.
The hotel actually appeared to be abandoned when we arrived. There were no cars in the parking lot, and although there was someone at the front desk it didn't get much busier. The room itself was old feeling and felt shabby.

The place was dirty and staff was very unprofessional. Stay away from this place. We arrived snd decided to stay elsewhere.
We paid a lot through expedia. The listing said the location had a restaurant and bar. Both had been closed for a very long time. The room was very hot and stuffy when we arrived, the air conditioner barely worked, the windows opened, but had no screens. The halls, stairwells, and elevators were filthy. The surrounding grounds were trashed, with piles of garbage and construction debris.
The property itself could use some tender love and care they pull was not working it was down major renovation
They had bed bugs in my bed, crawling all over my body and my babies body!!! The situation is so unbearable that I had to check out at 11:20pm in the rain with my two babies.
