Violeta Hvar

Short walk to local attractions and close to downtown. Room is comfortable and staff are friendly. There is a kitchenette for those that want to cook. Big balcony with table for a few drinks in the afternoon. I would recommend this hotel.

This apartment is fantastic. Clean, comfortable, well-furnished, near the beach and a very pleasant walk along the waterfront to the town. Our only regret was that we did not have more time to spend in Hvar.

Clean, beautiful, friendly staff

Apartment run by a lovely family that are very helpful. Very clean with a nice view over the harbour. Its about a 10 minute climb up from the port. Room had a balcony with a nice view. If you don`t mind the climb then its a good place to stay

Eva was an incredible host

Our room had an amazing view and we had a really great patio. Unfortunately we had cold weather. Our hosts were super helpful. Due to a language difference we had a couple of problems. Being from the US we usually have both a heating & A/C unit. There were instructions to work the A/C since it was cold we ignored it not realizing that was the also the heat. So we were cold a couple of evenings. The second morning we were so looking forward to a hot shower only to get cold water. There was a switch with the lights for the bathroom that also turned on the hot water heater. We had accidentally turned it off. The hotel is up a hill and walking to get luggage to the hotel is difficult. Our hosts took us down to down to get to the ferry. There were a couple of restaurants near the hotel. Since we were there before May only one was open. We usually walked down to town for dinner. We brought food & coffee from the store for breakfast. We had an nice electric pot to make coffee and cups ,dishes etc. It was a really charming hotel and we would stay there again.

Great getaway spot for couples! Just 5-10 minutes light hike from the pier, this is a gem of a guesthouse that has been recently refurbished with modern fittings and boasts a good view of the harbour! (We had the room with balcony - there is a little dining set placed on the balcony to sit and enjoy the soothing panoramic views of the sea!) Fresh linens/towels provided, clean bathroom fully-equipped. Friendly charming hosts! There's even a mini fridge in the room too. Walking distance to most of Hvar's spots. Good value for a semi-posh destination like Hvar is!

everything was just what i was looking for. all basics there, clean, well designed and comfortable. friendly and helpful owners. could do with z bit more kitchen work top space.

The appartment was like new. So much better than you expect. About 400m from the night life. Good distance from the music. About 80m of stairs to walk up from town centre. Taxi 200m from ferry. A must with luggage. Cost 100kn. We got free drop off at ferry. Son & daughter speak good english. Sorry we were just so impressed. You want be dissappointed here

Nice little place for this price. Location is a trek with your bags from the port, but after the initial trip up the hill, it isn't bad. Walking distance (less than 10min) to the beach (Hulu Hulu) and the port. Only suggestion would be for the room amenities could use some upgrades. The towels were very old and scratchy.
