Sunscape Dorado Pacifico Ixtapa Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

All inclusive hotel on beach. 3 restaurants, sometimes 2 when they use the garden for outside buffet. Cater to more Mexican menu except in Italian. Breakfast buffet has a good variety. Beware of too many spicy dish options at lunch. Always ask. Food is satisfactory. We go out for a different variety as menu does not change-only at buffet. Great staff. Miguel Sandovar Viro, Carlos, Adilene, Roger in Italian, and Ranulfo at breakfast and lunch.

This resort is average. It is very clean but dated - it could use a refresh. Our deluxe ocean view room had a wonderful view of the ocean and the pool area. The location is good, with shops and restaurants across the street. The restaurant and meal options are limited, it would be great if they varied the menus from day to day. The service in the restaurants is hit & miss. The resort plays very loud music late at night, and it can be heard throughout. Geovani gives EXCELLENT service on the beach in the palapa area, he is definitely a plus for this resort. We got a good deal on the package price, so overall it was enjoyable.

A delightful time at a delightful resort. Giovani was our server at the beach every day. He was wonderful, prompt with drinks and thoughtful.

Very good, everything was incredible! Everyone was so nice and kind, Yessica of entretenimiento was very happy to was a very fun class in aquaribics.

We just returned from a 14-night stay at Sunscape Dorado Pacifico Ixtapa, and this was our second time staying here. Once again, we had a great experience. The resort is in a great location close to town, and the beach is fantastic. The staff truly made the stay — everyone was friendly, engaging, and genuinely welcoming. A special shoutout to Genovani for the beach bar service; he was always pleasant, fun, and personable, and really added to our time on the beach. Agustina, our maid, did an excellent job as well — our room was always very clean and done quickly. This isn’t a 5-star resort, but it’s very reasonable for the price and offers great value thanks to the outstanding staff. We would definitely go back.

We stayed about 10 days here. First, it is a fine hotel with good service and staff as many say. Good points - hot climate, courteous staff, good service, good food service at a la carte restaurants. No need to reserve at restaurants. Nice beach and easy walking access across the street to the small (touristy) town of Ixtapa. However there is only one pool and it gets uncomfortably crowded early with reserved chairs packed side by side in rows. There are also beach palapas. Pool staff will try to find you a chair and take away towels from reserved but unused chairs if you ask. They must make a watch on those who abuse the 1-hour limit as most do. Shade is at a premium. Restaurants - its a misnomer to claim "6 restaurants". The buffet is just divided into several sections. There is the Bluewater -good- and upstairs the more classy Italian Mario. There is a lunch "food truck" style burger/fries place. They do a nice buffet dinner in the garden area often before shows (not every night. ) Nice but probably would not go back because pool area is too hot and crowded. We did not take the Sun Club upgrade - it didnt seem worth it to have access to a small air conditioned bar and more snacks, and a restaurant area beside the Bluewater.

The staff is the only reason I would go back to this resort. As we all know, staff can make or break a trip. I have been on numerous All inclusive destinations, all over mexico, cuba, and Dominican, this one hands down has the best staff. All staff were fantastic, huge shout out to Victor, Simon, Raymund, Irvin and Silvano, provided service with a smile, they kept tabs on who was next for service, and the drinks were consistent and tasty. The restaurant service, was great, it makes a big difference when the staff are friendly and make jokes. Especially the ladies in the Italian restaurant ! we ate there twice and service was top notch! no reservations required for the restaurants, it's first come first served, that is greatly appreciated. no towel cards required, and best yet NO wrist bands! The staff knows who should be there. The AC in our room worked great, our room actually got too cold, until we reset the thermostat. overall the food was meh at best, I was able to find good food for every meal, not a giant selection, but if you pick between you won't go hungry. it's solid 3 star food. a few small tweaks would elevate the experience. the beach at the resort is great for walking, the central location is great, and did I mention how great the staff is ? 100% would recommend this hotel just for the staff.

The location pool and beach are awesome. The rooms were clean but dated . The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The food was below average.

We just came back from 14 fantastic days there. Great food, awesome weather and good amenities. Rooms are nice, very nice and friendly staff.especially Magela,Jessica,Naydelin and Jhovany. Unfortunately they need more ping pong lessons lol. Thanks for the great time.
