Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Alamogordo

We stayed here for one night in February 2025 pre-White Sands National Park. This hotel is very close to many restaurants. Our room was spacious and had some of the best water pressure I've every had in a hotel shower. One of the bed's sheets looked dirty, so we called the front desk to ask for another set of sheets. Those never arrived, so after and hour we went down and got them ourselves to change one of the beds. The free breakfast was great and one of the best I've had a Fairfield hotel. It was a quick drive to White Sands National Park in the morning.

The fact that paid $219.47 for a king suite with a spa tub which the lady at the desk tried telling me I didn't make any reservations so after my integrity was insulted I showed proof of my reservation which btw I still didn't get, then the they gave us an already occupied room. Very poor service and I want my refund! y'all screwed me out of the room I paid for!

Very quiet which was great since the last hotel was not. Lots of plugs and USB ports—there was a “tower” for plugs by the beds.. Recycle bin in room, toiletries in shower. (Getting the rain shower head to work was a little strange) Nice fitness center. Decent breakfast.

The evening front desk staff was wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating. The room was beautiful and quiet (from traffic, trains and other guests); the bed was comfortable. Drawbacks: the room was not very clean, but the sheets were clean! That's a plus! Solution: I went to Walmart to buy Lysol wipes and wiped down everything which made my stay much better. Would I stay there again? Yes, but I will bring a tub of Lysol wipes.

While at breakfast somebody walked into our room and stole 2 wallets. When reported to front desk she used every excuse. One of them being that because our door was not shut properly also that the cameras are only at the ends of the hall. Only people we seen when going down to breakfast was cleaning staff they were probably watching us.
