Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Alamogordo

Our room was large. Breakfast was good offering many options. I have dietary restrictions and could find healthy food for me to eat.

Our hot water didn’t work. We had two tvs in the room. One didn’t work at all and the other got only one channel. The exercise room was lacking. No free weights, no floor mats, no exercise ball. Just 2 treadmills and an elliptical. And a weight machine that I don’t quite know how to use.

This is a nice Marriott property that is modern and has nice amenities. It is located on the south side of town towards the Air Force base and White Sands National Park. We arrived in town kind of early and stopped for lunch and by 1:30 we stopped at the hotel to see about getting into our room to drop off luggage before going to the National Park to have a look around. The staff member at the counter said she could give us a room which was one for handicap if we didn't mind, which we didn't. The room was on the ground floor and so close to the lobby, very convenient for getting luggage to and from the room. The room was clean and nicely decorated, the king size bed was comfortable and we both had a good night's sleep. The bathroom had nice design and was super clean. Overall, we found this property to be well within the level of comfort and value that Marriott provides and would stay here again.

Pleasantly surprised. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. So kind and upbeat. The breakfast was warm and tasty and the options were numerous. Family friendly.

It was a good day other than the fact that the pool was down and I did not receive that message.

The entire place is clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location was very close to restaurants -- we were able to walk to several. The bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again if I plan to travel to Alamogordo again.
