"Brilliant hotel and a fantastic location"

10.0

Very friendly staff and a great welcome. Really like the decor throughout. The bar and lounge area were very comfortable with a real log fire and fantastic views of Lake Windermere. The gardens outside at the back also had the same views and a good area to walk the dog. The food was fantastic and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. There was also plenty of parking and a fairly short walk down the road to lake Windermere. We chose a cosy room which didn't disappoint. It was big enough for a 1 night stay with a dog.

"Perfect in every way."

10.0

Truly exemplary hospitality with all staff being role models for their profession. Beautiful interior furnishings, eclectic decor in public areas, upbeat ambient music and extensive outdoor area with beautiful views of Windermere and distant landscape. A wonderfully dog friendly establishment where our four legged companion can be with us as we dine and we cannot wait to return.

"Fabulous service, lovely food, great position and good value for money."

10.0

We had stayed at the Ryebeck many times in the past but this was our first visit since it reopened under new owners. We visited with our three adult children and dog. We loved our stay. The owners were so welcoming and very attentive. The quirky decor in the hall and lounge was great. We ate in the restaurant and the food was really lovely. The Ryebeck is in a great, quiet position walking distance (about a mile) to Bowness town centre and the lake itself. The hotel has lovely gardens and it is great to sit outside on a warm evening. There are lake views from the lounge and dining rooms. I really recommend it, it’s good value for money and, if you stay, I would recommend eating in the hotel’s restaurant. We will be back.

"Good but disappointed."

9.0

Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful decor lovely bright breakfast room. Lovely garden and great location. Room upgrade free of charge.

The room we were upgraded to was directly above the bar, staff and clientele quite noisy. Dog inside and outside barking up until 10.20 at night. Even with the TV on. Both woke up next morning very tired. If not for the noise we would have no complaints. Sad end to our break.good
