Hôtel du Château & Spa Gemology

I absolutely adored this hotel. The location is right across from the château, and the vibe is laid back and spa-like. Even though our room was really tight for 2 adults and a teen and 2 large suitcases, the ambiance and attention to detail made it worthwhile for our one-night stay. Check-in was easy and the service was excellent. Breakfast was tasty and there were 2 sweet dogs to pet. Our room was very clean and the AC was a nice relief to the hot summer day. We didn't use the pool but it was lovely. The photos on hotels.com don't do this place justice.

Loved this hotel!!!! So cute! Each room is decorated differently. We were in room 4 and it was fantastic. Hotel staff is very friendly. I had a massage while I was there and it was great. It is right by the entrance of the old city. So convenient. I would stay here again.

Lovely hotel. Our room was comfortable and quiet with excellent air conditioning. The pool and surround was a really nice place to relax. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Staff are wonderful, great location, we wish there was a hot breakfast instead of a continental breakfast, That’s why we didn’t want to pay extra for the breakfast there! We wish there was a small refrigerator to store our fruit and drinks

Very pleasant check in process. All of the ladies were so nice and helpful. The evening bartender was a joy to spend time with. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Everything about this property was warm and welcoming. There was a spa like feel about the entire property. The staff was lovely, warm and welcoming. (and English speaking, which was helpful) The rooms were SO comfortable, quiet and luxurious with garden views. I did not have time to try the spa but I am only guessing it would be wonderful as well. The breakfast was beautifully arranged and the small bar was there for an afternoon or evening glass of your favorite adult beverage. It has nice views of the walled city and we found everyone within the walled part of the city, friendly and helpful. You can easily walk to the downtown area as well. I wish I could have stayed at least one or two more days, just to relax and enjoy this property. I would highly recommend everything about this hotel and spa.

Lovely one night stay in a luxury cosy setting. All amenities one could wish for, friendly staff, just take into account they don't accept cats contrary to what the small print says that all animals are accepted.

It was a wonderful experience. We were upgraded to a room with a castle view The hotel is very charming .. a true gem in Carcassone just next to the City wall . The room is very well decorated and charming . Traditional breakfast is available The staff is super attentive . I definetily would come back again .

Impeccable service, staff goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and memorable. This is a must stay property!
