East Beach Hotel

This was my second stay at the hotel in a month, the first time with 3 friends & this second time with my mother. We had sea view rooms both times, the rooms were decorated lovely & comfortable, breakfast was very nice and all staff friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay there again & recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to have a comfortable stay in a seafront hotel.

On arrival at the hotel, the lobby was very pleasing. Meet by a cheerful lady who sorted the keys and off we went. The room was very very run down. Curtains in the bathroom were hanging off the runners so didn’t close. With no frosted window this made have a shower difficult. There was damp all down the bathroom wall. Very old furniture. The bed however was very comfy! There was a small booklet about the hotel and the area, which restaurants they recommended. We went to the Thai and it was great!! There was no bar which is stated on hotels.com and the chairs on the terrace were all chained together. Overall a disappointing visit and we won’t be returning to this hotel.

Leider waren die Zimmer nach hinten raus nicht mehr in so gutem Zustand, mal ein neuer Griff am Schrank, Tapete war an den Zimmerecken lose, Boden im Badezimmer auch nicht mehr in so gutem Zustand. Im grossen ganzen dürfte am Zimmer etwas renoviert werden. Dafür war die Loggia wunderschön und gemütlich eingerichtet mit Sicht aufs Meer. Der Frühstücksraum sehr schön und eine sehr geschmackvolle Bibliothek/Fernsehzimmer. Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Super feines Frühstück mit allem was dazugehört.

Lovely hotel on the seafront . Helpful staff . Great porridge in the morning. Only issue was the shower very little water coming out if it . It was like a water mist not a shower .

Lovely lovely hotel.. great location on the beach. Very comfortable rooms and great breakfast!! No amount of tea was too much trouble.. thank you. Look forward to staying again.

Stayed here before in an exceptional sea view single, perfect stay. This three night stay only a rear single available. Still beautifully decorated. My only negative on the weekend was housekeeping who didn’t clean my room Saturday and was unsure if the room assistant would come back when I said I’d be out in 30 mins and said no. Asked at reception on my way out what time they worked until as it was only 1045. Room wasn’t done at 130pm when I returned but happy to say it was when I returned late evening. Staff were sparse this weekend, only saw staff on arrival then always had to ring a bell
