"Lovely!"

A last minute booking for an overnight stay while visiting family in the area and we were delighted with what we got! Lovely warm welcome at 9pm+, a comfortable communal lounge for me to wait in while my husband found somewhere to park (really the only drawback) and a clean, comfortable room and pristine bathroom. What more could anyone ask? It was a cheaper rate for a room at the rear and Room 5 isn't large but who cares?...we were only there to sleep! Nice and quiet...twin beds, good breakfast for £6 each the next morning. Super!

"Lovely refurbished hotel, shame you cant park"

Really nice clean room. Only issue is parking is a nightmare in Eastbourne. Arrived in the evening, no parking anywhere within half a mile of the hotel, reception werent able to offer any advice. This didnt even clear late at night or in the early morning.

I was very impressed with my single room with a great view of the beach. It was pleasantly decorated. The only slight problem was the lighting in the bathroom was very low and the mirror was not illuminated. The public areas were comfortable and attractive.

"schöne Lage direkt am Meer - keine PP"

Die Lage der Unterkunft direkt am Meer ist super. Zu Fuss ist man in 5 - 10 Minuten bei den vielen Restaurants und Einkaufsläden. Problematisch ist das Parkieren, das Hotel verfügt über keine eigenen Parkplätze und diejenigen an der Strassen sind alle besetzt. Das Zimmer war klein aber zweckmässig und ruhig. Das Frühstück war i.O. wir mussten abersehr lange warten, es wurde serviert, es gab kein Buffet.

"Clean and friendly "

Was a very nice hotel , clean and friendly staff, unfortunately we asked for a double room with a bath , we ended up with a back room with I minute shower facing a yard and there was workmen there, I opened the curtains to a cherry picker with a builder in it facing right into my window , not exactly a sea view , when I complained about it they said that’s what I had asked for, unreal!!

We were travelling by bicycle and the staff were very helpful allowing us to store them securely. We requested a room with a bath at short notice too and this was no trouble at all.

The hotel was lovely, very close to the beach, and the people were very friendly. It was a very hot weekend, so it would have been nice to have AC
