It was our honeymoon which was noted and there was absolutely no appreciation or effort put towards this. The room was horrendously dusty behind the dressers, on all plants and bench tops. The mattress quality was very poor.

The apartment we stayed in was very basic and very dated . The only bathroom had no ceiling fan or ventilation. For the price we paid i would have expected a more modern amd comfortable apartment.

The resort was visually appealing and the facilities were lovely (pool, spa, gym & sauna), and the ability to hire kayaks and paddle boards was amazing. The staff were also very friendly and the grounds were well kept. However, when we arrived the floor in the apartments (unit 4 and 52) were very dirty, we had to sweep and clean the floors as it didn’t feel as if they were cleaned properly after the previous visitors. The carpet was also covered in a lot of dust and build up. Furthermore the vacuum provided didn’t work properly so we had to use the broom. On top of that the bathrooms didn’t feel very clean either, in the ensuite of unit 4 there was hair on the ground and in both bathrooms there was soap and scum build up that hadn’t been cleaned off the shower glass either. We also found a bandaid on the terrace as well which isn’t very sanitary and not something that we wanted to pick up or clean ourselves. The chairs in the apartment were also covered in stains we actually put blankets over them when we wanted to sit down as they felt so dirty. It’s not as if we could sit on other chairs either as they hadn’t provided a proper amount of seating for the apartment size. We also asked for additional towels as we were there for 7 days and we were told that’s what the washing machine was for in our apartments, this was rather disappointing as you don’t want to go on holiday and do washing. What was even more disappointing is that they only gave 2 sachets of washing powder and we were told you had to pay for more if you wanted more powder, the same went for the dishwashing liquid and dishwashing powder for the dishwasher. Keeping in mind 2 of each of these are insufficient for an apartment that is supposed to sleep 6 guests. This is 6 guests using towels, eating breakfast and dinner was well so there would be plenty of crockery and dishes that need washing as well as bathers and towels from using the pool facilities. Overall it felt as if they had cut corners and it was a let down as they advertised the property as luxury accomodation, however they didn’t provide the luxury amenities and services and the cleanliness of the property was anything but luxurious, especially if you have to clean it yourself when you arrive.
