Noosa Pacific Resort

Our small family group recently enjoyed a relaxing and very comfortable stay in a second floor garden side unit overlooking one of the pools and the tennis court at Noosa Pacific. The unit was very clean, quiet, well maintained and decorated with comfortable beds (including a king in the main bedroom), and air conditioning and fans in the living area and both bedrooms. The kitchen was particularly well equipped for a holiday unit with plenty of quality crockery, cutlery, glasses, cookware, platters etc. to make for easy holiday entertaining. Noosa Pacific is a well located resort within easy walking distance to the river, shops and restaurants at Noosaville, as well as a short drive, cycle or longer walk to Hastings Street and Noosa Main Beach.

Stayed in the riverfront apartment overlooking the pool on level two. Breathtaking views. Place was great for two couples as we each had our own bathroom and we were separated by the living area. Had a lovely BBQ night on the river. Well Appointed, however there were no dish washing pellets and limited dish washing liquid. Went down to reception just to get another sachet of liquid and the receptionist said I would have to pay. Didn’t get any on principle because the accommodation was pretty expensive. Also I have never come across a 9.30 Checkout.

We had a gardenside unit which we found cosy. Usually stay in Hastings Street or Gympie Terrace so this was a nice change of scenery, resort is peaceful and close enough to both to get to cafes etc. Staff were friendly, true locals so great recommendations. Swimming and laying around the pool with a book was my favorite part. We used the BBQ a little, too hot for a sauna but good to know it's there next to the pool too. Overall was a pleasant experience for a first time and hope to come back!!

Property was pleasant enough and clean. Warning guests that they will need certain consumables (such as washing machine tablets and Nespresso capsules) to enjoy their stay from the beginning would be useful (there are no nearby supermarkets within reasonable walking distance on a 35 degree day). Having the office open only 8.00am to 12.00pm on weekends with no facility to store luggage thereafter is a positively last century approach to tourism. No one wants to sit around Sunshine Coast airport for any longer than necessary.

Great location with easy access to local buses (free in Christmas holidays!). The pool was lovely, clean and mineral. Tennis court was really good, as were the barbecue facilities. The beds were also really comfy. There is access to paddle boards and kayaks which was great (though expensive to rent by the hour).

The customer service was just adequate. Staff weren’t overly helpful or giving of information on check in (didn’t even know about the buses in spite of signs all around town). The apartment was clean but we had to wash everything in the kitchen as we needed them (utensils, pots pans). Had an issue with a toilet and management didn’t follow up, fixed it ourselves. They were polite enough, just didn’t go over and above.

After viewing the enticing resort photos on the Wotif and resort website we we booked a "garden view" accommodation at the resort for our annual family holiday. Upon arriving at the resort we met by a rude employee. We proceeded up the narrow steep stairs to the unit and were horrified to note a filthy apartment with dust and hair all over the beds overlooking a derelict old tennis court with absolutely no garden. The pool was a small rundown waterhole and not the enticing river front pool featured on the website. We immediately returned to the reception to advise we cannot stay in this apartment and was told there were no other available units so we demanded a refund. We were told the manager Ross would call however he did not do so until we called again requesting an urgent call. After calling back Ross stated that it was up to Wotif to refund us and we should speak with them. Despite being in contact with Wotif immediately who advised that they would refund have now advises that the resort has refused to refund us. We will now proceed to take both Wotif and the resort to Fair Trading and expose the misleading and deceptive conduct. Do NOT book with Wotif and most certainly do not book at this run down resort!

Having kitchen / laundry facilities in the apartment

The apartment we were in needed a proper deep clean. There was mould on the curtains and in the washing machine. Under beds wasn’t vacuumed. Vents / fans were full of dust.

Pool area was locely

The room was a little dirty , floors if a mat was moved had not been cleaned properly . Plates in draw also were dirty. The beds could have also been better quality not very comfortable..
