Clean room,lovely tea tray with treats.Good breakfast,staff at breakfast were helpful and chatty.

The visit didn’t start well as on check in we were told we couldn’t have a table for dinner that evening as they were fully booked!!To be fair to them it was Valentine’s Day,but it would have been nice if the hotel in advance of our arrival told us that they were busy and tables were booking up and did we want one reserving?The room we had (5) was a pleasant room but outside the window was a roof which had I assume the kitchen extraction fans which noisily whirred ALL NIGHT!!I had no sleep at all because even wearing ear plugs to TRY and alleviate the noise the bed still vibrated🤪After we complained at check out they did offer us a refund of £40 which we accepted.

We have stayed in the same room on at least three occasions now and it was still very good.

The restaurant was awful. The menu was severely limited, not everything was available and the ribs that we chose really were inedible, it was like eating wood! The wine list was the same, not much of the list was available. Some of the staff were very nice, some appeared to be completely indifferent.

Lovely building, easy parking, friendly helpful staff and comfortable room.

Our only cause for complaint was the noise from kitchen fans which meant we couldn't have the windows open for ventilation.

Bed bugs!! Im covered in bites and itching. No one to discuss with upon leaving. Bedding was discoloured and brown under the bed covers. Stains on walls and carpets. Not hoovered under bed so lots of crumbs and dust on most things. Window broken so very breezy and could hear everything outside also very hot and window only opens a tiny bit so struggled to sleep.
