The Kirkhouse Inn

Bath cold tap not working. Bath drain not working. Breakfast good but had been sitting too lo g before being served so was a bit dry. Charging extra for a non standard coffee was annoying. Orange juice dispenser was empty and when refilled, its tap won't working. Staff need a bit more training- nice enough but not on top of their jobs and could be more attentive. Overall a nice place to stay and if attention to detail had been there it would have been excellent.

The location was lovely.

The food was awful, a chicken burger which was not edible, in fact not even a chicken breast, upon calling the manager he said the chef preferred to make chicken burgers from chicken thigh????!!!! Not even breadcrumbed.Dry and hard.

Het personeel was erg meedenkend, en bood ons een betere alternatieve oplossing toen er iets niet beschikbaar was. Ook was een vroege check-out geen probleem. Het restaurant en de bar in het hotel waren ook erg prettig, en gezellig tot laat in de avond!

Enkele dingetjes op de kamers liepen iets achter qua onderhoud, maar niks wat het verblijf belemmerde en alles was prima schoon!

Staff where friendly and very wecoming . Food was good and locate was fantastic . Had my dog with me who was welcomed by all staff.Would stay here again and recommend to any pet owner looking to takibg break with pet .

Access to microwave would be useful to cook my dog protein chicken ,without having to intrude on staff to ask for chicken to be microwaved .
