"Fantastic find in central part of the city"

10.0

Hotel is in an excellent location for shopping, dining and excursions.. I stayed here to attend an event and this hotel had everything you could ask for and more. The hotel room was quite small, but big enough for me, very clean, well equipped and quiet as well, although locate on a busy street. The staff was amazing and answered all my questions, explained everything, and even find a nearby restaurant for me, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

"My short stop over in Delhi "

8.0

Good value, clean and quiet room, helpful and very friendly staff. Restaurant was quite nice, but found it a bit expensive. However, there are some good reasonably priced restaurants nearby. The location of the hotel is great, located near the train station and the metro station is only a 15 minute walk away.

"Close to New Delhi Railway Station"

6.0

We took a prepaid taxi from Delhi airport, cost us 450rp (about AUS$10). Took a while to get to the hotel due to Delhi traffic, maybe 1hr something for 15km. There are many hotels on the same road, the street actually looks pretty cool at night, a mini Vegas from the 70's. The Hotel is a bit pokey, although I booked a business room with twin beds, they took me and my male colleague up to a room with a King bed, but quickly rectified the mistake, but I don't think we got the business room, just a plain twin room. The room was simple and clean, bathroom modern, a little bit of maintenance required. There was no windows to the outside which made it feel a bit confined. We had no hot water that first night, but we didn't say anything to management, and in the morning no hot water either. The morning of check out there was hot water, so somebody must have notified management. The room had a descent TV with English movie channels, a small bar fridge with tea and coffee. For the money it was good, I would stay there again for a 1 or 2 night stay, but wouldn't stay there if I was spending a week in Delhi. We took the Airport train back to the airport. It was only 60rp and took 20mins, a better and safer option than taxi. The airport station building is on the other side of the New Delhi station, which can be challenging to get to so I wouldn't recommend doing it at night unless you have been there before.

"Just an 'OK' Stay"

6.0

I missed my connecting flight from Newark to Delhi due to bad weather on the east coast and wasn't able to check in until a day later than originally planned. Palm D'or would not refund me the first night, but they held the room for me and my friend for the last 2 of the 3 nights we had booked. The following day we finally arrived late at night, but they were not able to honor the twin beds we had booked and they gave us a room with a queen bed. The room was old, dirty, and nothing like what was on the pictures, plus it had a horrible musty smell. Luckily they switched us to a room with twin beds the last night which was MUCH better and cleaner and much more like the photos. I thought the breakfast was nothing special, but I really appreciated that the hotel provided us with a shuttle from the airport (for a fee) the night we arrived given that it was our first time in India and it was one less thing we had to worry about. Overall the stay was ok, I would not stay here again.

"very disappointed"

4.0

There was a whirlpool tub in the room. But with the amount of mold in there I was not getting in there. The room was musty and mildew smelling. And the bathroom smelled of urine. The staff was friendly on the bright side. It was just plain shabby.

"Disappointing Stay"

4.0

I've been staying at three-star hotels in India for ten years so believe I have perspective. I really was disappointed with Palm D'Or: food was mediocore at best; kept getting room service orders wrong, would promise and not come through; terrible water pressure in shower. There are plenty other, better, three-star hotels.

"Very easy to find, convenient location and perfect"

10.0

The hotel is close to the train station, so it was extremely easy to find. Both the room and bathrooms were very spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. No complaints, will definitely stay here again next time when I'm in town.

"Location and staff ; just perfect"

10.0

Surprised with the location. Hotel was literally close to the railway station, metro and city center and it was convenient for both business and leisure travelers. Staff of this hotel were very friendly, the hotel room was not that big, but comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was not as lavish as one would find in other three-star property, but very, very nice.
