"Expensive albeit trying hard"

The position overlooking the abbey is lovely, great styling and lots of good points.

I thought it was expensive for what it was, no parking which is understandable but I believe the price of the room didn't reflect this on top of that the room was small and stuffy (I was warm) parking was £8 at night and I had to leave before 8am so not have to pay for parking again - dinner was pretty good and breakfast was average.

"Lovely hotel at a very fair price."

Lovely room, nice toiletries etc., fan and hair dryer, big bath. Breakfast was included in the rate, which is becoming rarer.
