Central location, atmospheric and great breakfast

Excellent food and location

The basin tap was loose

It was lovely not having to serve yourself with breakfast from a buffet table. Staff were very friendly and attentive, food order was taken and served with a minimum of fuss. Food combinations not on the menu were requested and served without a problem. Refills of tea and coffee available. We were visiting family so only ate an evening meal in the hotel on the night that we arrived, plenty of choice between the menu and the specials board and presentation of the food was excellent. The only disappointment on my part was that I had booked a superior room and expected a queen or king sized bed but although very comfortable it was only a double. Additional extras were higher quality than the norm. My son had forgotten his toothbrush and asked where he could go out and buy one only to be told that courtesy supplies could be found in the unit outside his room.

Couldn’t really say anything detrimental about this place, other than the size of the bed in a superior room, but it was a very comfortable double bed.

Parking

The room was warm and cosy and over looked the abbey. Great location plus can go downstairs to eat and drink.

Could of ironed the dressing gowns that were creased hanging up. Parking but then again the hotel had no parking anyway . Breakfast was a little confusing and 1 staff member working hard .

Stayed there before really friendly Staff and owners.
