Peckforton Castle

very moment, from arrival to checkout was made special by the team at Peckforton Castle. We booked through a third party but this was seamless, and we were shown to our room with a mini tour of the castle along the way. Our room was beautiful, the food delicious and the team made us feel like VIPs throughout our stay.

Attended recently and absolutely loved everything about the stay Venue is stunning, service and staff is exceptional very welcoming and friendly Room was perfect huge fireplace decor is beautiful, roll top freestanding bath is great, loved that you can walk around the castle and explore all rooms, bar is very nice, evening meal was lovely and breakfast was brilliant Brilliant value for money and will 100% return

Great looking Victorian Castle. Car Park a long walk uphill not easy for pensioners. Won’t allow parking at the top. Lots of steps to room only some areas have lifts. Stair lift chair didn’t work. No biscuits in room no nibbles or crisps in bar. Bathroom had broken window. Cold. Dinner had Triple Cooked Chips that didn’t even make it past 1st stage!! Pale yellow not crispy and hard! Changed but just the same just hotter?? Breakfast was good though. They had early checkouts so get up early.

Amazing 7 course taster menu in the 1851 restaurant. The professional and knowledgeable staff as well as the gorgeous food just made the whole experience fantastic. The castle itself is stunning and the wine cellar bar a real treat! Quirky individually styled rooms were an adding bonus! We loved every part of our stay from check in to checking out it was perfect.

This was our first time here .and it's won't be the last .the location is stunning and the food and staff are excellent. Its our anniversary so a big thanks to all the staff here

We stayed overnight on a Sunday night deal which was very good price , my reason for only give 3 stars is the bedroom we had , it was well overdue a makeover it’s looking very tiered. The bathroom was very shabby grim on the tile grout , black mould on the sealant around the bath , black mould on the stone work around the window and a smashed window pain . Also the cleaners need to look higher than head hight as there was loads of cobwebs in the bedrooms

This was our second Christmas three night break at Peckforton.....stayed in Tarporley room again for the second time.....room lovely highly recommended. This years break again surpassed our expectations from arrival to check out. A big thank you to Michelle and staff for friendly hard working service, and a thank you to Charlotte for our request for Tarporley room. We are both looking forward to 2026 Christmas break.

Stayed at peckforton castle last night,and it was excellent.the castle is beautiful,the rooms are lovely,the staff are very friendly,and the breakfast was very good too. Would definitely stay again.
