Such a welcoming hotel, all the staff were very polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Met the very handsome CK the friendly hotel dog. Great breakfast with quality ingredients included in the price of the room Set a few minutes walk from the sea front. Super hotel. Very convenient for theatres and beach. Rooms clean and very comfortable. Lovely homely atmosphere. Friendly staff. Beautifully decorated by various artists. Lovely front garden. Attention to detail evident in all aspects to make stay easy and enjoyable for example use of fridge. Parking at the rear a huge bonus! Carefully considered local and environmentally friendly options.

If I could rate it higher stars I would!! This is a fantastic place. The owner Steve was great - very helpful and accommodating. There were many breakfast options and the food was good. The decor in the building is very artsy and gorgeous. I got a good vibe from the place as soon as I walked in - very welcoming. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Eastbourne boardwalk and 5-10 minute walk into town. Good location. I would stay here again when in Eastbourne.

This is an excellent family-run B&B. The rooms are spotless, and the common spaces are beautifully decorated by local artists, creating a cozy and inviting feel. Breakfast was varied and included a cooked breakfast. What makes this place different from other hotels is how the owners are really connected to the local community, and they support local charities. The hosts gave fantastic tips on what to do around town. Highly recommend!

Whats not to like, fantastic place to stay. Breakfast options very good, parking excellent, hosts and staff first class. We have found a little gem here for our visits to Eastbourne. see you again Steve, and Renee, from Peggy's Cove.!!!!!

Excellent host and Excellent accommodation, second year using this place whilst at conference . Will book again for next year.

Not impressed, the room felt grubby and dated, the room was big and airy but the bathroom was grubby, dust on skirting and picture frames, wasn’t inviting from the outside. Breakfast was an early window, 8am to 9am on a weekend!, no bottle water in rooms.

Very convenient for Congress Centre, restaurants and shopping. Parking on-site was a main reason for booking also breakfast included. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The welcome was very warm and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely book this hotel again.

Very pleasant stay where staff were very friendly and welcoming. Very pleasant greeting and tour on arrival. Breakfast was plentiful - I particularly enjoyed the omelette. The information folder in each room was informative and enjoyable to read. And it was great to have hot chocolate sachets and biscuits as well as tea and coffee in the rooms. It is situated conveniently for both the beach and the town centre.

I only stayed at The Sheldon for one night but I thought this was a fantastic find. The whole place is spotless. There is nothing that hasn't been thought through and provided for your perfect stay Great location near seafront and close to town center. Exceptional value given that private parking is provided and the breakfast is all you could wish for. The Owner is so friendly and gives great advice. There are many hotels and B&Bs in Eastbourne but this one is very special.
