The Sheldon B&B

They stay was okay except the carpet fitters working outside my room which was a bit inconvenience and disappointing where I couldn’t get to my room sometimes.

This was our first stay under the new ownership and it didn't disappoint. Staff were very welcoming at check-in and throughout our stay. The decor has been updated and Sheldon House now looks far more 'colourful'. I rarely read the guest information, however the folder was inviting and I am glad that I opened it. The information contained within was very engaging and helpful, especially as I established that at some point it was called The Burley Sheldon Hotel. I need to check my husband's ancestory for a connection! Check-in, check-out very easy. Onsite parking was a huge plus. Breakfast choices were very good.

Lovely stay, hosts very friendly, room was very comfortable good location for the town/restaurants and seafront.

Manager and staff helpful very obliging with wheelchair and parking.

Very central but still far away from the noise from the Grandstand.

This place is brilliant! From the friendly welcome from the owner to the lovely breakfast my stay was easy and relaxed. Clean room and a lovely atmosphere. This is my second visit, and I will always stay here when I am in the area

Excellent stay, everything first class. Exemplary service from Celeste & all staff. Steve and Renee own, manage the B&B, they get it! They're very courteous, very obliging, thoughtful and considerate. Steve's sense of humour comes included in the price of your stay. Free parking. Beautifully presented cooked breakfast to order, plenty of choice, along with added extras in the breakfast room. Not forgetting CK, their furry butler! I will be back!! Thank-you.
