Hacienda Morelos Beach Front Hotel

This hotel has a location that is second to none. It is a minute walk to the main square in Puerto Morelos and a second from the beach. I booked last minute so was expecting a smaller room with no view, but instead got a large room with a stunning view ( they all have stunning views, see photo attached). It was without a doubt an amazing value for the money. The staff, specially Doria, were all professional and welcoming. The cleaning staff insured the rooms and grounds were spotless. When i had am issue with a couple of things in the room staff were there immediately to address the issue. To be balanced the hotel has a few items that could be updated, but when I look at the big picture it was a perfect place to stay in Puerto Morelos. Enjoy and tell them I sent you!!!

I've been staying at the Hacienda for over a dozen years so it's been interesting to see it's evolution. All of the rooms have been nicely upgraded along with most all of the property. The restaurant is now separately run so breakfast is no longer included but it really has an excellent selection available and should not be overlooked. The location can't be beat!

In terms of value for money this is an amazing hotel. The location is phenomenal both in proximity to the ocean and to the core of Puerto Morelos. To be fair the hotel is not the newest or the fanciest, but it is the best. When there was a question or concern staff were prompt and professional. Doria dealt with a few issues for me very quickly and with a smile. I had friends pass by and they immediately booked a room for their company. Yes there are things that aren't perfect, but I chose to look at the bigger picture, which is right in front of your balcony. Disfruta!

This was a great hotel for proximity to the beach and restaurants. Check in and parking were easy. We had a mini fridge and ground floor access to the beach and pool area.

We enjoyed the beachfront views and the beach. The food at the adjoining restaurant was very good. A couple of suggestions: - provide bathmat - provide Do Not Disturb signs, we were woken by cleaning staff - unplug drains

Nice beach hotel on the Gulf of Mexico. Restaurant on the beach or inside. Rooms are spacious and the water is hot unless you shower after 9pm - then the water is cold. The hotel is right in town with shops and restaurants all around. The hotel serves lunch and dinner only. You’ll have to walk to find breakfast.

The front staff were not friendly or accommodating at check in. We had very slow service at the restaurant one day and so we left. The hotel is good enough for the price and ocean front, very convenient for walking. The pool water was dirty looking. Everything else was fine, I’d still stay here again for a short amount of time.

This is not a high end luxury resort, but that’s not what we wanted. Our room was clean, modernized, and comfortable, (though all rooms have only double beds, no king or queen size). Best of all, we had a balcony the overlooked the pool and straight out to the Caribbean Sea. It was blissful to just simply sit on the balcony watching th sea and listening to the waves. There is a wonderful restaurant with full bar on site.
