Hacienda Morelos Beach Front Hotel

Everything was great. The only issue we had was that the body wash dispenser was not filled when it ran out and the cleanliness could have been a bit better but we still enjoyed ourselves.

We will be back!

Loved the view of the beach from our room. It was just a basic room but was clean and was perfect for us. The pool looked like it needed a good cleaning but we didn't plan on using it. The only way to the 3rd floor rooms is a thin staircase and it was difficult to bring luggage up. If you have a hard time with stairs it might be best to request a floor level. I would stay here again.

We like this hotel as it is right on the beach and it is very nice

Small, unpretentious hotel in a primo location on the beach. Good restaurant and pleasant rooms, all of which face the Caribbean. Most rooms have a patio or porch facing the water. Good beds, though they are standard doubles. All around a good value and a pleasant place. Grocery store 2 minute walk away.

We liked the convenience of being near the square, our favorite place for massage and right by Chedraui and Loyla y Moya. Our go to restaurant in PM is Muelle Once. There had been a kitchen fire. However, later we were able to eat there 2 times-the second time bringing a local friend, an expat. She loved the food. We always do to. The service is always excellent too. The restaurant seems to what gives you a 3 rating, not because of the hotel which is like a 2.

The property is in a great location for shopping and dining options and is right on the beach. We enjoyed the pool and palapas right outside, and easily walked to a wide variety of restaurants. A large grocery store is just across the street. We had a good sized balcony, looking out to the ocean, but two of the three chairs need replacing due to the material on the seats being ripped through. The balconies on either side are divided by half walls, so limited privacy. I asked three times prior to arriving if rooms have refrigerators, I was told, “No”, yet we did have a refrigerator in the room, which is very useful. There are very few outlets and they are not very accessible, they did not work well with our charging blocks or hair dryer. The three TV remotes did not work. Lighting in the bathroom was not good for “getting ready”, no Kleenex are provided, and they ask that you put bathroom tissue in garbage instead of flushing it. The door to our unit appeared to have been kicked in at some point leaving a large gap at the bottom, there is just a simple door lock, with no additional locking mechanisms as seen in US. This place has great potential, just needs a little work. As things were I would rate 6-7, with some minor, but important improvements, it could be 9-10 for comparably priced places. No elevator if that’s a concern.

Odd to have to walk through the restaurant to get to the beach but otherwise just fabulous. Always a breeze. Town is great. grandma’s across the street is excellent for breakfast

Property is in a great location and the staff were wonderful. However, the facility needs an update, which didn’t bother me as much as its state of disrepair. 1) The bathroom sink in my room had multiple cracks 2) The faucet on the sink was very loose and not at all secured to the counter. 3) The bed linens were old and worn 4) The pillows were old and lumpy, I wouldn’t put them in my dog’s bed 5) The mattress was VERY HARD and uncomfortable 6) There was no bedside lamp only overhead lights 7) The restaurant was closed when I was there which was inconvenient I loved Peurto Morales and will be back but not to this hotel. I cannot recommend this hotel

I really enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again. Recommend the north wing and ground level units, there is no elevator. Patios offer more privacy away from the pool on the north wing. Absolutely gorgeous view. Request a fridge, not all units have one.
