Glen Rose Inn and Suites

Checkin was bad. I had 2 rooms reserved and paid for. Desk clerk said he could only fine one. I showed him the email showing the payment for 2 rooms. He said i needed to talk to expedia because i had made reservation through them. Could not get help through expedia because they kept asking for some code i didnt have. Zero help and lask of caring from desk person. (Tall muslim man) also, signs on door stated you could not enter lobby without mask. Desk person was not wearing a mask. I asked why he said he didnt wear one. I took mine off. Room was dirty. No blanket on bed only a dirty spread. Was told by housekeeping that was all there was. Ask for clean one. She said there were none. Had to ask for toilet paper. None on roll. Wall next to tub looked like someone had vomited and never cleaned. Bathroom floor dirty. Room smelled of spray used to camouflage the dirty smell. Knew there were no more room. Had seen a relative moved 3 times because first room had not been cleaned. Bed unmade and used towels etc. In room. 2nd room had airconditioner that didnt work and 3rd room smelled but we were tired and were going to see a play. We had traveled 5 hours. This Glen Rose motel was the dirtest and worse motel i have ever seen. People running motel must not be use to clean home because all the filth was acceptable. Would sleep in my car before ever using or recommending this motel.

The shower was very dirty. There were old hairs on the tub side and the toilet. There was mold on the shower curtain .

The restroom in the lobby was HORRIBLE. The sign on the lobby said it was open from 7am - whenever, trying to check out at 8:30 the doors were locked and had to wait for someone to come and the door was still locked. My room was non smoking but it had smoked in very recently, my clothes and items smelled like smoke when I left. VERY Disappointed.

Stayed during a Labor Day Weekend family trip. Stay was ok for the price point. Older motel, could use updating Sheetrock repairs, pool I would not let my kids in, taking them to the river nearby was better than getting in that water, but this is a motel not a 5 star hotel. I had no problem on my 2 day stay. Towels were delivered and I needed a plunger one night- kids! And they were fast to deliver one so I’d stay again.

I liked the property fine. I did not like that the pool was out of order and I could not get my tv to work. It was not a big deal on either of them as I wasn't there much at all.

Dirty room- dirty walls Everyone who checked in was placed next to each other. Only 7 cars with 2 separate buildings, but placed all of us in a room next to each other. I prefer a little space. The neighbor had a yapping dog and I have a baby. Not a good combo. Pool was dirty. No coffee maker. Hard bed. Air conditioner wasn’t cold. Thank goodness I brought a fan or we wouldn’t have slept from the sweat.

It was a good stay, especially for the price.

Our family used to stay at this motel every summer & used to enjoy sitting outside in the evening relaxing in or beside the pool not anymore the pool was almost empty & nasty green. No amenities at all now no continental breakfast, no coffee, no coffee maker in room. No phone, no alarm clock, just small microwave & mini fridge jalso small shampoo, lotion & 2 small soap for washing hands or to bathe. All there is a noise cold air conditioner, bed linen, towels & shower/tub at least it was clean. This place is going down hill needs a lot of painting & upgrades. The pool was the main reason we stayed here. Now we be renting house from someone else for these 3 day weekends

Property was not very clean. Holes in wall and in need of repair. No hot water.

The picture is not the correct picture. The refrigerator did not work but all else was great.
