Nothing, happy with everything

Everything about this hotel was fantastic. The location is breathtaking, quiet and yet only short distance from Keswick. The staff are excellent and the food is absolutely 5 star. Cannot recommend highly enough and value for money that I have never experienced before.

Zero to dislike.

The area is breathtaking and the staff is magnificent! Hazel, who waited on me for breakfast every morning was one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. That woman is a national treasure and should be protected at all costs! The property has clearly been recently renovated and is just beautiful. I couldn’t be more pleased with my first stay in the Lake District!

It’s not close to anything besides nature so be prepared to drive or eat at the hotel if you need anything quick.

Fantastic welcome and service from Stefan at the front desk. He is a great asset to our experience. Beautiful views, great food, spacious room with balcony. Stunning gardens. We had a fabulous stay.

Balconies should have more privacy. Also the entry to the hotel could have more ambience. And more choices of tea in the room (mint, chamomile etc.).

Amazing property set in an outstanding location, start where attentive and friendly.

Breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented. Great choice. Views at breakfast were stunning. Staff were incredibly helpful.

Some confusion with booking.com - I had booked breakfast with the booking and also upgraded my room. when I got to the hotel, breakfast had not bee included and we had to pay for this separately. This was disappointing and embarrassing for both the hotel and us.
