Nice service, friendly staff, different activities Love the place

We stayed in whala bavaro for 7 days. We were hesitant to book it due to the reviews. There’s so many reviews that food is bad and that service isnt good. But we needed to have a place closer to the airport but we are so surprised with the resort. Our stay was AMAZING! Food was good! Buffet restaurant have a lot of selections. Variety of food to choose from. Theres also a snack bar that also offers good food (i wouldnt consider this a snack bar as they serve REAL FOOD like pasta, chicken wings, fresh fruits, pizza, nachos and huge selection of dessert), they serve didf types of cocktails in this snack bar as well. At night, you can make a reservation for italian restaurant (MOZZARELLA STICKS IS A MUST TRY APPETIZER!!) The bar… one bar by the beach , a bar by the main pool, and another bar by the snack bag. They serve local and imported alcohol beverages. For customer service. I cant say anything bas Staff are friendly and helpful. Best part of our vacation for me are the workers who mase our stay memorable. Big THANK YOU to our bartenders (SANTO, CEASARLUIS, EVELIN) keep the drinks coming hahaha Also big Shout out to ADRIAN and ANGEL from the snack bar. Always a good service! I will definitely recommend this resort aa we has a good experience during out stay! THANK YOU WHALA BAVARO!

There was no shuttle provided to and from the airport, had to pay a taxi, unexpected cost. A 'voucher' was required when checking in, proof of our booking, which didn't make sense after all the items I filled out online prior to our trip. After a long day of travel not stuff you really want to deal with. On the flip side, once we settled in we had a really nice week. Place was nice, food was good and the beach was in reasonable walking distance.

Por favor lean los reviews ya que les aconsejo paguen un poquito más, “el hotel” bo vale la pena los dormitorios tienen mal olor, demasiada humedad, el aire acondicionado no sirve, para recibir atención del front desk se toman 48 horas, las piscinas no las limpian, la comida no es típica del país, los trabajadores son muy groseros y despotas ( bueno alguno son buenos pero otros no), además de todo hay ratones, el agua d esas duchas tenía un mal edor a podrido lo siento pero yo no vuelvo a ir a Punta cana mis expectativas eran buenas porque lo han hecho demasiado propaganda pero no vale la pena. Suerte si decides ir a este hotel.

La intalacion no adecuada la cama malisima el baño no apto se fue el agua a ultima hora la comida bebida super mala los empleado ni un saludo por contesia a la verdad que no tengo nada de decir bueno es lo peor en todo

I came with low expectations based on the reviews, but it was a nice experience. A majority of the staff speak spanish, but I never thought that they catered to Spanish speaking people like other reviews stated. I did feel like this resort catered more to adults than children- I travelled with me two kids, the pools depth was about 5 feet in all of them. The jacuzzi was cold, so they used that as a pool as well. Not a lot for the kids to do on the resort. The food wasn’t good, but lots of restaurants at a walkable distance. We felt safe the whole trip and the beach was amazing…. It was literally 30 seconds from the resort and security monitored so that just our hotel guests could get through the entrance. The bathroom wasn’t that great in our room, but the room itself was nice. I would recommend this resort if you plan to spend most of your time at the beach or out exploring for a cost effective stay! One cool thing was that the bar on the beach was included in your stay- so you could have easy access to drinks!
