Villa Murano

The lady cleaning who welcomed us was very friendly and nice. The lady on the phone was always very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, cozy, at a good location and probably one of the most affordable options. We really liked our stay!

As everything in Santorini, price is higher for what it offers in comparison to other places in Greece, but that is Santorini

The price was good

The walk to the main area is a bit to far as its all uphill.

The room was good, the property is close to many places of interest. There is a free parking really close to the hotel. The view from the balcony is good and there is even a jacuzzi for each room, though it wasn't working when were there.

The location and property that is on Booking is NOT correct. The photos and name are from Villa Murano, but the property is actually Grande Murano (check on maps where it really is). This wasn't a problem for us, the property seems about as good as Villa Murano and both are quite close, just wanted to point that out in case you are going by yourself and don't use their shuttle, you might end up in the wrong location...

The property was perfect for a couple of days, it had all the basic things to sleep and shower. I really liked the common areas, such as the pool and tables that were outside, it seemed like it was mostly for young people. The customer service was great, they picked us up from the port and explained everything we needed to know about the area. Keep in mind there is a 15 min walk to the center of Thira, this walks includes ramps, it wasn’t an issue for us but maybe it will be for someone else.

Whenever we would shower the whole bathroom would get wet, because the shower only had a curtain that didn’t reach the ground all the way.

Friendly hosts and nothing was too much trouble for Katherina and her husband. They made us very welcome.
