Kn Hotel Matas Blancas - Solo Adultos

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 We stayed at KN Matas Blancas in Fuerteventura for a short break (Sunday to Wednesday), and despite reading a lot of negative reviews after booking, we were pleasantly surprised. We were only there for 4 days and 3 nights, but it was exactly the relaxing getaway we needed. Hotel & Staff The hotel was clean throughout, and we genuinely couldn’t fault it. All the staff—from reception to maintenance to the dining room—were welcoming, friendly and helpful. There was a slight language barrier (my Spanish is non-existent!), but everyone tried their best to assist. A special mention to Rosie, the waitress, who was such a lovely, fun presence. Also a shoutout to the chef on yesterday morning—a tall, very dark-skinned man whose name I didn’t catch—who was absolutely brilliant. He made fresh eggs and bacon for us on the spot and nothing was ever a problem. Food There was a good variety of food, though I’d describe it as average overall. Sometimes dishes didn’t look the most appealing, but the chefs were happy to cook things fresh if you asked. The snack bar wasn’t great, and seeing flies landing on the food put me off a bit. Entertainment & Facilities We didn’t see or hear any entertainment during our stay, but as we were only there for a few days we were happy to relax, unwind, and people-watch. We used the spa, had a nice massage, and made the most of the facilities, which added to the break. Location The hotel is quite secluded, and it’s about a 25–30 minute walk to the beach. Something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues, though it didn’t bother us for a short getaway. Extras It was my husband’s birthday, and the hotel kindly delivered a bottle of bubbly on ice to our room—a really thoughtful touch. Overall We had a lovely little break before the Christmas madness. It was perfect for what we needed: calm, sun, and a chance to recharge while the kids stayed home with their grandparents. Despite some small areas for improvement, we’d happily recommend it for a short, relaxing stay.

The hotel is very friendly. I was on my own but soon met others and had a great time. I always found something I liked in the restaurant. Sunbeds were plentyful.

Had a really good experience at this Hotel, not top 10 but you get what you paid. Really good choices at the buffet with great service (chefs and servers) the staff at the hotel are also great, Angel and Bryan thanks you for being so quick at problem solving and being so welcome! If you really want to enjoy around the area, have a half board (breakfast and dinner) and use the midday to explore Costa calma. The hotel is Sadly located next to a waste plant which send weird smells into the rooms and very much all around the hotel, but, I have to say that the cleaning and sanitation is good around the hotel and rooms. Make sure you explore the spa, didn’t have time for any treatment but very relaxing experience when using the facilitations. Very quiet area, which means very relaxing time next to the pool, ideal for people that like to disconnect. Quite far from the airport but make sure you get a shuttle, leaves you right outside and great at picking you up to get to your fight on time. The rooms are good and make sure you ask for a sea view one!

The staff are manly friendly there was work being but they left it a mess.the food was in general good however was cold.on last morning sausage was not cooked.you can't get a coffee ☕ at dinner very strange.If they put a few things right id given a 4 ⭐.The evening entertainment is very poor & Finnish early.could say more but I'll leave that for others.

I’ve not long arrived home after spending 4 fabulous weeks at Kn Matas Blancas Hotel. This was my 19th visit to this amazing hotel and I have 3 more visits this Winter to look forward to! When I first stayed at Kn Matas Blancas Hotel which was approximately 8 years ago, such was the welcome I received I knew this was going to be my future Winter holiday home. And the welcome I received for my November holiday was no different. As usual all of the hotel staff did their utmost to make sure my holiday was as enjoyable as possible. The reception staff were, as always professional as ever, and were always there on hand to help me with any questions or queries I had. The food in the dining room was delicious and up to its usual very high standard. And after many days out walking/scrambling up the hills and wandering along the many coastlines, the evening meals were very welcoming indeed! It was also very nice to return to a clean and tidy room after a day out, and the walk in showers were the perfect antidote to sort out my tired and aching muscles. And when I felt the need to spend the day at the hotel I knew I had the choice of 3 swimming pools, the spa, a gymnasium, and animation activities to look forward to. I’ve only been home a few days, and I’m already looking forward to my Christmas stay at this wonderful hotel. Thank you ever so much KN Matas Blancas, see you again soon! 😍🙏

Nichts Negatives

The rooms have zero sound proof even a conversation can be heard from next door. The tv doesn't work, shabby rooms. Powerful shower and room was clean. The food , it's poor very poor and very repetitive choices, most of the hot food is overcooked fish is always dry I never had any meat. I eat with my eyes first and the Meat was not appealing. I complained to the receptionist and was told they would forward to the manager to get in touch, 3 days have passed and not a word. My glass of wine was served in a toothbrush glass I will post photos, I did complain and was then given an empty glass to decant my wine into. It really is a bargain basement hotel and I should have known by the price I paid for a 5 days get away. Never would I stay here again. Pay a bit more and get better accommodation.

Coming to the end of a pleasant and enjoyable week at Matas Blancas this hotel is great for people who like the poolside but not good if you want the beach holiday.The staff have been good especially the bar staff and a special mention to the lady at reception who helped me to move room after my original suddenly had a neighbour who had a chainsaw and snored until gone 10 in the morning no sleep for me that night but the new room is great. The rooms are pleasant and the beds are comfortable and clean each room has their own sun loungers. The food has been pretty good especially breakfast the drinks have been good as well good measures and the beer has had a good taste. The daytime activities for me have been non existent and the evening seems to be centred on Karaoke they could do with more variety this is why I only gave 4 stars instead of 5.But all in all a good hotel and I have booked again for next year you will always get grumpy people who will have a moan but I liked it
