"Beautiful grounds but a little disappointing"

The grounds are beautiful, it was lovely being welcomed by Buddy the dog, and the staff were very friendly. The bed was comfortable.

It is dated and the room I was in smelled musty. There were spiders in the bathroom (in the corner of the bath and the corner near the toilet) and it looked as though the webs had been there for a while. I ate in the restaurant - the lasagne was disappointing as it had been over baked and it was dry. The towel I used to dry myself with after a shower smelled odd.

"Perfect setting amazing staff"
