"A pleasant stay in a quiet and rural location."

Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was homely and relaxed. Breakfast was very good all served to our table (no buffet).

Our shower barely worked and we had paid for their best room.

Friendly staff

Unfortunately paying £150.00 for a room to have a function disco and noise rattling through the house ridiculously until 1:30am didn’t really float my boat. The music then stops and you get slamming and banging from the kitchen. Shame as the staff were really friendly.

"Very friendly and welcoming, lovely building but needs investment"

The owner was very friendly and accommodating, reception staff were also very lovely. The full breakfast and the scrambled eggs were great. Food was very good. Rooms are big and spacious and warm. The building is full of character and in beautiful grounds.

Decor was a little tired and needs updating. Presentation in all areas could be improved.
