Old building full of history

Needs work to bring up to scratch and bedroom really need a deep clean / new carpet. Also have odd rules on towels and tea/coffee in rooms both very limited, if you want towels changing more than every 4 days or extra coffee tea bags there is an additional charge

Breakfast and dinner

The toilet was very noisy and the staff refused to help. Our room was not looked at one day despite saying that there is daily room service. The staff were not sympathetic when we raised these problems. Everything is very old and run down and our room for 2 people was very small.

The property is beautiful in character, run by a lovely family with excellent staff. Nothing was to much trouble.

They looked after us and our 5 year old GSDog very well.

Didn't dislike anything.

Excellent breakfast. Good selection of choices for dinner, all delicious. The setting is amazing. Warm and welcoming.

Some areas a little tired but didn't detract from my stay.

Excellent food, great to sit outside on the terrace when the weather allows. Very comfortable room. Great full English breakfast.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, das Essen war überhaupt hervorragend. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, schöne Aussicht in die große Parkanlage.

Die Badezimmereinrichtung funktionsfähig, aber nicht sehr modern.
