Beautiful old country home,

Very good breakfast and the staff where very friendly,the grounds are very relaxing and quiet lovely stay

Welcoming and staff. Room was clean and bed huge and clean. Allowed dogs

Place looked a little tired in grounds and decor. Carpet in room badly stained

Interesting location , I loved the decor … was hoping to stay in main house but had room allocated in converted stables ( which were warm !! ) fan provided . I’ve stayed in many hotels , would have preferred old room in main house instead.

Felt a Bit isolated in coach house .

The staff were were extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent.

From the entrance it looked immediately that it was not well maintained. Entrance sign and gates badly needed painting and updating. Weeds everywhere right up to the front entrance. Room not checked before new occupants arrived.ie:- bathroom light fitting above washbasin not working, no water glassesand as our room looked onto the car park there were no privacy cutains/blinds.

Grounds were beautiful, room very clean, food very good and reasonably priced. Staff very welcoming. Would book a return visit.
