Great location, liked the kitchen, decent size particularly the bathroom. Clean.

No hot water and no available wi fi… the WiFi suggested in the guide book wasn’t available and no code was given to me to connect. Contacted the property directly about the issues, acknowledged the message but no response.

The location was great, being able to park at the location was a bonus. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean, from the bar to our room. We dined for our evening meal here and the menu has something for everyone. Our meal were lovely.

Unfortunately we found the mattress to be too soft for us, would have liked some curtains to keep out the light as the blinds did not do this so the room was lit up all night. If your a light sleeper, the road noise maybe too much for you. Although not too much traffic around when we visited. Would have liked a small tub chair to relax in, instead of sitting on the bed.

The only thing which didn't work as well as it should was the breakfast. Some elements felt they were straight out a tin/freezer and no-one likes an underdone sausage.

Pleasant small village location, nicely decorated rooms, very pleasant and helpfull staff, and food was really nice. Bed was super comfortable and as a lone traveller I felt very safe and cosy there.Good location for travelling to a meeting the following day, and way better than staying in a "corporate" hotel. Room quite small (I had a small double) and if there was 2 of us we may have struggled a bit, but was perfect for me on my own.

The corridors were wooden floored, so quite noisy when neighbouring rooms were coming and going during the evening. My sink pkug wouldn't open once closed on the morning I departed, so had to clean my teeth in the shower! Water pressure in the shower was quite poor - only just useable. Small setbacks but overall a very pleasant stay. The bedside lamps had very low voltage lamps, and it was very dark without main lights which I had to get out of bed to switch off! - just a little more light from the lamps would be good.
