The staff were fab and the breakfast was lovely

The room was only made up for one guest even though we paid and booked for 2, so only 1 towel etc, the plugs were a bit dodgy and wouldn't always work when trying to use the kettle etc, the noise was annoying and through the night you kept hearing the saniflow system going so it wasn't as relaxing as we had hoped.

The room was lovely. The staff were delightful. The breakfasts and the evening meal were tasty; ample and well presented. Free car parking and an ideal location.

The cost of bar drinks were a bit steep and the menu is priced a wee bit high. The shower was not particularly hot. The heating in the room was hit/miss. The sash windows rattle in the wind. No bedside lamps. Ceiling spotlights are too bright. Some music noise from 2am to 3am one night.

Room clean and tastefully decorated but very cosy. Breakfast good but service could have been slightly quicker but was very cheerful Dinner the night before was also very good.

Bed is sooo comfy Can smell the fresh paint Rooms to a good standard loved the pillows on the bed definitely stay again the staff was lovely lovely location the pub was lively just decent
