"Ok"

Nice room. Able to get a nice meal in pub.

WiFi intermittent in room. Made it difficult to work so had to go downstairs.

Good village location

Staff unfriendly, swearing, unprofessional. Poor breakfast options, no yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereal, juice options. Tired ensuite fittings.

"A poorly managed and disorganised place in a very nice village. Some staff tried hard but were overstretched."

On route, nice village, character

No one to welcome on arrival and I got duped into believing drunk locals were our hosts, then rescued by bar staff who told me to lock our bikes to a fence in the garden (not secure and there were obviously other better places they could have offered). Taps in bathroom didn’t work well. In the bar we had to ask 3 times for a drink - lady serving was way overstretched. At dinner My pasta salad was freezing cold, Andy’s food was ok. Then worst was breakfast - we wanted to leave asap but decided to wait for the 9am earliest time- no staff were around at 9! There was another guest wandering round looking for someone and a food delivery driver trying to find out where to leave the delivery. So we left without breakfast (not good as we had a long cycle ahead of us).

"Very pleasant stay in a great location."

Super location in a very pleasant village off the beaten track. Characterful property and the room had everything I needed.

The room was built into the roof space and consequently had a sharp slope to the ceiling with very little headroom at one side. As I am tall I kept banging my head (although I accept that the owners can't really do anything about the design of the building!). The breakfast options were limited t a few set choices and a buffet style breakfast would have been better.

"Needs a house maid"

Location

Filthy old water in kettle going off colour. Dust in cups no coffee. Old tooth past and glasses and stuff in draw. Paid for breakfast but it’s wasn’t open at 9 oclock dispite calling out. I will not be returning.
