Great welcome, excellent COVID controls. Good clean and comfortable room. Staff we excellent and the food was delicious. We stayed in room 2, only one issue; a very squeaky floorboard by the wardrobe which you couldn’t avoid treading on when moving from the bed from the right hand side

Overall is very good. Good size of room, dog friendly and great food. so many people staying with dogs.

I liked the rooms, they were very clean with comfy bed and Sky TV. Staff didn’t come into our room to clean each day to reduce any infections. If we needed anything we could ask. We felt very safe there. The restaurant and bar served a good choice of foods, wines and Young’s beers in tap. Social distancing was evident. The hotel is very pet friendly, with pet bed and bowls. Pets could join owners in a part of the restaurant if requested. The hotel was 10 miles outside Salisbury and only a few miles from the historic sites of Stonehenge, Avebury as well as the beautiful countryside of Wiltshire, Somerset and Devon. We really enjoyed our stay and will be going back next year.

Super country hotel with very friendly, helpful and efficient staff, really delicious food, and comfortable, well-equipped rooms. Only slight drawbacks are: location on busy corner through village, noise from other rooms and stair/corridor at times, and many steps so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.

Fantastic hotel, very welcoming team, throughout stay. Bedroom was very quiet, beautifully designed. Food was amazing!

This is my second stay. I like the place. It’s comfy, a little quirky with good food. The only negative from a working perspective is the WiFi. Every time it logs out you have to go through the motions all over again.

Average hotel-- my room location was Beside the staircase so whenever someone would walk up and down the staircase the whole room would vibrate. Difficult to sleep at night as the bed would vibrate as soon as there was movement on the staircase.

Lovely character hotel. Great if you have a dog. Highly recommend.
