Good location—close to local shops, restaurants, launderette, bus stop, and just a few mins walk from city centre. I appreciated the daily housekeeping service. The room was cleaned well each day and fresh towels + drinking water were provided.

Just a small note that it’s located close to the main road, so you can hear some traffic noise, especially during busy hours.

The room was super cute and tidy. Everything was super sweet decorated and the bed was really comfortable. It was the best thing ever to wake up with the sound of the seagulls!

Very comfortable beds - we got two excellent nights' sleep. Even though the bedroom overlooked the road there was very little noise from the traffic. We had need to contact the host on a few occasions and the response time and helpfulness of the host was very good. Having stayed in similar properties in Kemp Town in the past few years it was good value for money

Unfortunately the shower in our en-suite bathroom did not produce any hot water. However, the host was very helpful offering us an upgrade to another room at no additional cost.

Cozy and warm

Bed was slightly hard but was still good. Door seemed a bit insecure creating a slight worry of if they would stop an intruder however, the stay was wonderful.

Het contact met beheerder van de accommodatie was goed. Hoewel er niemand op locatie was, was het contact via de chat van Booking erg snel. Daarnaast was de locatie prima gelegen op zo’n 10/15 minuten lopen van de lanes.

Geluidsoverlast op #1. De locatie is aan een druk kruispunt met stoplichten. Je hoort al het verkeer heel goed. Doordat het erg warm was in de kamer moesten de ramen wel open. De hygiëne was niet heel goed. Het was erg stoffig in de kamer, ook de gordijnen en lamellen waren erg stoffig. Daarnaast stonk mijn handdoek erg na 1 keer gebruiken, deze is de dag erna verwisseld, maar ook deze had een vlek. Daarnaast was de badkamer niet erg schoon. Vieze voegen, de kraan was vol met kalk.

A very interesting period property that has been modernised to make it very comfortable and homely. Check in and check out was easy and Amgad was incredibly helpful with any requests. The location was perfect, close to the beach and shops, but I also found it quiet and restful.

The bed, duvet and pillows were very comfortable. We stayed in the Brunswick room. We felt like we were at home. It was very equipped with shower cap, hairdryer, Netflix, sky tv, coffee, mini fridge with water, fresh clean towels, shampoo, body wash. All the necessities. Beautifully decorated. An antique feel which we love! Very clean! And very quiet. We will be back
