Casa Anjuna

The room was perfect, clean and very comfortable. The king size bed and own porch were the finishing touches. Love the accommodation also coz of the pool and surrounding green areas. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Fallen in love with Casa Anjuna.

Beautiful boutique style hotel, with stunning decor. Our room had wrap around balcony with a view of the central courtyard which was very peaceful and pretty. Pool area clean, was a lovely serene and green space to relax.

Nothing really , a bit of a walk to the beach but no big deal.

This is a beautifully well maintained property, only a 5 minute walk to Anjuna Beach. It’s quiet, peaceful and the gardens and pool area are stunning. We had a large room with a big balcony which was comfortable and clean. The decor is beautiful. We had a delicious breakfast each morning, served by the lovely Devidas by the pool, who we enjoyed seeing each day! Overall the food was very good and well priced. The other staff members, apart from the manager, working at the property were welcoming and friendly too. We were allowed a late check out which was great as we had a later flight.

We found the manager to be very unfriendly and unwelcoming. We were a little put off when we checked in and he kept our passports - when we returned to reception to ask for them back he said he needed to photocopy them, despite having already done this and having the photocopy of them infront of him. It was a bit weird and we felt a bit uneasy about it. Anjuna itself is a bit of a strange place - the beach is not swim friendly and we mostly came across large groups of men on what appeared to be stag dos. This is not a reflection of the property, more of an observation regarding the area of Anjuna, and we loved staying somewhere that felt peaceful and set back from the “strip” of Anjuna.

Stunning hotel with beautiful pool, delightful staff, delicious food and wonderful surroundings.

Great location - walking distance from the beach and most of the best bars and restaurants.

There was a bit of a cleanliness issue in our room with some stained sheets, grimy light fixtures and fridge.

Beautiful Portuguese villa set in lovely gardens, with a great pool.

The bed was uncomfortable and none of our three rooms had a top sheet so you were sleeping directly under a quilt. We asked for sheets but didn’t get them. The bar by the pool is not well stocked at all and although there’s a drinks menu; it’s generally just beer and soft drinks. We had gin and tonic’s one night but there wasn’t enough gin for our friends to have a drink and the gin was never re-stocked. It’s such a shame as Casa Anjuna is a very special place and the staff are friendly and work hard. It feels a bit tired and run down, I probably won’t go back
