Great helpful staff , great food , central location, great pool area

WIFI was not good , but probably not their fault ??

Value for money- it's a basic property in a very popular and buzzing area, lovely pool, food is good.

Rooms and the overall property needs a facelift.

The grounds and gardens of this 200 year old property are amazing. The hotel was located within a 10 to 15 minute walk of many restaurants on the beach. The hotel arranged for a transfer from the airport (1.5 hours) and we also organised for a trip to the capital and the latin quarter of Fountainhas. Breakfast was good and was a combination of both western and indian dishes. The decor of the hotel was great and it was like walking back in time with all the sitting areas and views from the verandahs. The rooms were the same with old style furniture. We enjoyed our 4 days here.

Shower was not hot. Water barely temped.

Casa Adjuna was a beautiful sanctuary in North Goa. We booked a Casa Special Room, which was clean and comfortable. There was a lovely balcony overlooking the lush gardens. Breakfast was a treat every morning. Staff were helpful, although English was limited with some. It was a short walk to the beach and eateries. We travelled to Goa in the monsoon so the tourist numbers were low and as such I think a lot of facilities were quiet.

We loved the attentive, warm staff. The grounds of the property are beautifully maintained. It's a charming, old-fashioned hotel set in a colonial style. The breakfast was freshly prepared. We stayed two days and got a variety of dishes from aloo parathas to omlettes, poha and puri bhaji with fresh fruit juice and very good masala tea the two days of our stay.

We found the property to be dated and the rooms to be not as well maintained. Though it was spacious, it could do with some renovation. The bedding was not as comfortable and the bathroom toiletries were not replenished. We wouldn't have minded it all if the charges had been lower. It was not a cheap hotel and as such needs to improve its quality. The location, though about 10 -15 minutes by walk, is a bit isolated and the hotel a bit difficult to get to because of very narrow lanes leading up up it. Having said that, it did also guarantee us plenty of privacy and taxis did arrive to pick us up or drop us off without a lot of trouble. All in all, ten stars for the staff without whom our stay would have been lackluster.
