- There weren't 3 sets of towels left on Friday - When I requested more on Saturday day time, they never sent to the room - When we returned Sat night still no towels and the room hadn't been cleaned. There was no do not disturb sign on the door. - Sunday, we had to wait until after the housekeeping team arrived for more towels - Saturday night they wouldn't serve us at the bar and insisted we bought bottles of beer from reception for a very high price. As reception served us, we saw people sitting down with drinks purchased from the bar.

Rooms decorated lovely and staff very friendly

The radiator was leaking there was paint peeling on the wall and the pillows where all very hard! All 4 pillows where the same most hotels have 2 soft and 2 hard not here!

The room was comfortable, spacious. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was in good condition. Everything was clean and tidy. On the whole an enjoyable stay and we are thinking of booking again and bringing our dog as the hotel is dog friendly, so that we can explore the surrounding area. The staff that we spoke to were very friendly and helpful.

My only criticism was the decor in the corridors could do with an upgrade, but the room and the rest of the hotel (the parts I saw) was in good order.

I'd booked an early check in but the room wasnt ready. The rooms could have been cleaner, make up on the carpet, bathroom in poor condition and stains on pillow cases. The phone signal was shocking and reception had to give us an alternative WiFi log in to let our family know we were okay.
