Children can use the swimming pool between 8AM - 10AM and again between 4PM - 8PM. "Good value stay"

Nice positive greeting at reception. Very comfortable bed, clean bedroom recently refurbished. Breakfast team very helpful with a good breakfast. Really happy with pool spa and gym pleasant surprise.

Hotel was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Spa facilities were great and the pool was warm which was a bonus

£18 for a chicken ceaser salad was very expensive and the “croutons” were pieces of fried bread which I would consider healthy when choosing a healthy option meal.

Location - we needed an overnight stop in that location

Staff were slow and inefficient. The food was of poor quality and was clearly just shoved in an oven or microwaved. When we gave negative feedback about the quality of our meal there was absolutely no response, not even an ‘I’m sorry’ or ‘I’ll feed that back’.

The stay at the Muthu Clumber Hotel was very good. Sadly my complaint is regarding booking.com and their appalling customer service. Having been charged for the room at a previous hotel by both booking.com and then the hotel after providing a credit card for only additional charges, booking.com’s attitude to customer service was disgustingly. It is just about impossible to get past the automated chat system to speak with a human. When I finally spoke to someone it soon became apparent it was difficult for them to resolve so I was cut off! Next conversation was equally unconstructive, result no refund! Moral of this, hotels may be excellent but: TAKE CARE PROVIDING ADDITIONAL CREDIT CARD DETAILS AFTER PAYING BOOKING.COM FOR ACCOMMODATION BOOKING.COM CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT!!!!
