Far Hills Hotel

The location

We were assured about our safety, after querying, when we checked in. I had left early Monday morning to do business in George. My wife was working alone on her computer in the room on that day, when the gardener entered the room via the sliding door, which was open, and he seemed to have the intention of theft. He obviously did not see my wife on the computer in the opposite corner and when he saw my wife he made a quick exit. We questioned this but the manager seemed to side with the gardener initially.

The hotel looks like a quaint hotel from bygone days. It is in a lovely settings. The staff are very helpful and friendly and tried to compensate for the establishment shortcomings. Our room was large and comfortable with a great view. Our dinner was delicious and plentiful

First impressions count. We arrived with not a sole in site. I tried phoning the numbers on the counter with no response. About 30 minutes later someone arrived and checked us in. It was as if they did not expect us. Others had the same issue. The place is in need of maintenance. No management was seen.

Mycket prisvärt boende. Härligt och rent rum. Personalen ville så väl. Frukost stor och välsmakad.

MY INLAWS LOVED THE BREAKFAST . THEY SAID THAT THEY CHECKED OUT EARLY AND WAS ALLOWED TO TAKE THE BREAKFAST TO GO.

THE BEDSIDE LIGHTS WERE AN ISSUE. EVERYTIME YOU MOVE IT FLICKERS ON AND OFF. ELECTRICAL ISSUE AND SPOKE TO MANGAEMENT ABOUT IT.

The staff were amazing. Always ready to assist

The location is good, it has a nice view

The breakfast in a facility of that level was disappointing The iron and ironing bods are not in working condition and they use old irons which and up ruining clothes. My white shirt was left with black marks from the iron, I had to go to court with that ruined shirt

Breakfast was basic but very good. Staff were very helpful, as we needed an emergency room because our previously booked accommodation was terrible.

Definitely Need more staff. Staff are very friendly but badly overworked.
