The Peacock Hotel

This hotel has new owners who are determined to make a success of this hotel. The choice of food both Malaysian and British are served in the two beautifully renovated restaurants It is situated ten minutes walk into Kenilworth The staff are both friendly and helpful The downside for us our room need upgrading especially the bath/shower area We’re sure the WIP won’t be long before everything is complete

Friendly staff nice clean hotel with private parking Excellent location - walking to local restaurants and pubs ..

The Hotel was situated near to the town plenty of parking. Staff was friendly but a long wait for toast at breakfast. The room was comfortable but the bathroom let it down. Needed a update round the bath was untidy.

good clean service room a little outdated and small but service and cleanlinesss made up for this.

Heatings were not working.

The hotel could not provide me with a copy of the 'paid' invoice at the end of the stay because they had run out of paper. This typified it. Advertised breakfast times only meant were for a cold breakfast (which was not made clear). On one day the cook was late (20 min), the next day she was in a car accident; I gave up after 40 minutes. I still don't know if I paid for the breakfast that I didn't take because even after 3 reminders to the hotel via Expedia I have yet to receive a statement. The good news. They kindly checked me in 1 hour early. The town if very nice. It's an old style hotel that, in part, is charming.

For a budget price the room was okay except no hot water in the morning (!) and noise penetration from the corridor and barking dogs outside. The room upgrade on arrival was appreciated so we’re sorry to have to report the negative issues.

Good room and convenient for the town and quiet

Clean and comfortable but the large room.we had was not properly maintained. Bath tap missing, bulbs not replaced and wrong sized duvet[ too small]
