Shogetsu Grand Hotel

I really like facilities here. Room is really good and spacious. View is good. Not far from park. Near foot bath. The hotel is located on small hills. My English is not very well and I cannot speak Japanese, so sometimes it is difficult to communicate. However, all staffs I met were very helpful.

Good atmosphere in the all-day lounge. Many guests enjoyed the free amenities (drinks & snacks). Room was a good size and comfortable. Staff were friendly.

Difficult to find the hotel at night for foreign guests as the name of the hotel was in Japanese only and not easy to see. The breakfast buffet could serve more fresh fruit and local Hokkaido products like yoghurt and milk etc.

The rooms are huge. Roughly double the size of a regular hotel room. The rooms were half tatami and half wood flooring, avoiding the carpets and their associated dust mites. The room was well heated upon arrival and windows could be opened for a cool breeze as needed. The toilet and bathroom are split. For the bathroom, there was both a well draining shower area and a bathtub. It also had a special tap for drinking water. Besides the room, we had 3 different breakfasts and dinners across the 3 days. Each meal was so heavy that lunch was not needed. Free beer was also available at 5pm each day, and infused liqours at 7pm onwards. The onsen was wonderful as well with pools of differing heat and a beautiful outdoor area. All in all, a perfect trip.

I wish the lounge was open 24/7 even if there is no special services at certain hours. It is a great place to just relax and read a book.

位置非常好，剛好入口第一家！ 房間非常的大，床很舒服好睡！景觀很美，早餐、晚餐是套餐，很不錯吃，飯店的點心、咖啡、啤酒、蜂蜜、甜點讓人沒時間餓！坐在休憩區裡非常的放空休閒！

早餐晚餐會有菜單輔助，但是只有英文的，沒有中文的（最後要了日文版）！服務人員明白告知只會講英文跟日文！戶外溫泉可能因為地形關係，有點可惜，是這次來北海道期間，最沒有景觀的溫泉！
