"Lovely stay"

We arrived late and had no problems checking in. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bar and lounge area were very comfortable and clean and the open fire was lovely. Bar staff were friendly and Room was lovely, very spacious and clean. Breakfast was great, staff in dining room were friendly and plenty of choice of food. A great stay

"Nice countryside retreat"

Great location, close to Gisburn and Skipton. Very clean, nice restaurant, helpful staff. Keep an eye out for their special offers for bed, breakfast and evening meals.

We did not appreciate having to wait more than half an hour after check in time for access to our room. It was not our problem that 'housekeeping are short of staff today'. The waiting staff were pleasant enough - but seemed to be mostly ill-trained youngsters. The hotel should invest in some serious training on table service. Breakfast time was the same - don't leave dirty plates on tables! The Evening menu was limited but our choice was well presented and cooked.
