Hillcrest Motel

There are signs that they are renovating and upgrading this motel. It is old and tired but our room had been upgraded and the bed was reasonably comfortable. The towels were okay - a bit thin.

The room was a good size with a kitchen. It would seem cleaner and smell bettet without the wall to wall carpeting !

The gentleman there was very kind and helpful… we got our room… got unpacked and when we went to leave… the door would not latch… or lock.. he assured us it would get fixed while we were gone… when we got back it was latched and lock but we didn’t have the right key… we got a family suit.. had 2 beds and 2 fold out couches which was great there was 4 kids and myself… but no blankets or pillows for the fold out couches… the ad said ocean view.. when in fact it’s a fantastic view of the lagoon!!!

Good view/location. Friendly staff. Property and beds/pillows etc need to be seriously updated and replaced.

Room was very stuffy and smelly

Good value but not much cutlery in kitchenette, dirty saucepan, door jammed. Bed OK, clean linen.

I would not stay here again..

Garbage cans place in front of the room permanently. Wooden deck in poor condition. Storm door broken, no knob. Rugs are old and dirty!

Do not stay here, even for a single night! It is dirty, with bugs in rooms, and staff clueless!

Our room was not properly cleaned. Left over still in the fridge and a coffee in the microwave. The room smells bad, no air conditioner only fan and the bathroom was so dirty.
