Hillcrest Motel

It was an excellent experience staying at this motel. The room was nice clean and had beautiful views from the window. The staffs were very helpful, the location was great, very easy to get onto highway, also to restaurants area etc. We would like to come back to this wonderful motel.

A mom and pop place which should improve as owners get experience. They strive to please but they need a checklist to ensure the rooms are up to snuff. Good Value compared to steep prices in the local market but,as I said, it needs work to hit its' potential.

Hot water was iffy in the shower, no hot water at all in the sink, no towel or cloths upon check in had to go and request them which resulted in 20 minute wait, the place is designed so your room is not secure there is a door in what appears to be all the rooms which leads to a dark hallway intertwining between rooms so I could freely walk around unseen between several room I noticed no cameras despite this security flaw, room was fairly clean although old crusty tissues were under the bed which was nasty surprise when I went for the remote I dropped. Note this place was build very shabby and can notice building flaws and what appeared to be leaks there is also zero sound proofing you can clearly hear people opening doors from a distance away.. where the owners and family lives on site expect to hear a lot of foot traffic and children possibly and paying almost 90$ which was Expedia’s discounted rate for 1 night for these condition is ridiculous

Clean and basic... reflected in the price so we weren't expecting a lot. There were two of us, but only one towel (of any size) and one bathmat in the bathroom. The sink had a constant leaky dribble. The staff was only there to check us in.. we couldn't find them after that. It would have been nice to have a glass (or2) supplied with the room... I've never been in a motel which didn't supply this.

Very good motel and among the cheapest un St-John.

The staff was super nice and friendly. Check in quick & easy. But this is definitely a spot to sleep and not much else. Wifi was good, room was very small and furniture very outdated. Clean, but everything is pretty worn. Room came with a fridge which was nice. Good for what we needed it for, sleep and back on the road.

The room was small and outdated. The bathroom was horribly outdated and worn out, tiles were mouldy and there’s no shelf space Carpet in the room was dirty There was no air conditioning and when we asked they said it got cool in the evening so we probably didn’t need air conditioning. The front door could not be closed properly. Bedding was old. The screen in the room was broken on the top and bugs came in.

Cost effective motel close to St. John for an overnight stay, owners were extremely friendly, and accomodating.

Locality is good. The representative of the hotel should know the tourism spot in an around the places and timings to guide travelers.

It rustic. Only stay if your desperate for quiet nights rest. No frills and dated motel. You get what you pay for.
