Hillcrest Motel

This place is a one of the worst places I've stayed in years.

Found the main office very grubby and worn which was off putting. Room itself was very worn but clean.

Very good for the price, staff pleasant. Needs some updating but at such a minimal room rate where's the capital.

Mold in bathroom, hole in the wall under the sink in bathroom, would not recommend

the pictures are not what you get, looks like it should be half decent but seriously cannot go by the ratings people have given it!!! everything looks like it's been there since the 1950's with nothing been looked after, except the t.v.

Friendly staff, clean room, easy access to all you need

The bed was unconfortable , not leveled when you seat it will sag in the middle and the edges of the mattress would go up. The bathroom was not clean there was mold on the tub . I woul not recomend this place

It is a remodeled mom and pop motel. Everything clean but a bit doudy. An extra blanket would help. Bed okay but not great.

I felt the receptoon area absolutly appalling .stinky messy agent didnt even have your app uptodate .too busy playing games

Michael, Front Staff told me he'd put me in room 5 but it had not been rented out for quite some time. I went to room, seemed ok, Michael left, then I saw that the facecloths we're stained and dingy. I took them to the office and Michael gave me fresh ones. Said they were brand new, so I was pleased to hear that. As the night drew on, horrible smell appeared out of no where. I called the owner, Zack, in the middle of the night, told him about the problem and because it was so severe I asked for a refund, but he refused. He offered me 10. off another room, upstairs on other occasion. Told me I was in the room too long, that I should have mentioned it sooner, however, it only started in the middle of the night, around 2am. It was so bad, my throat was burning terribly! I had to get up, shower and leave. I had to be at the ferry terminal by 8am, so needless to say, I arrived, with lots of time to spare. It was also a little creepy to be the only person in the downstairs of the building. He should have put me up top, especially since I was a woman travelling alone. Anyway, I don't expect too stay there again.
