"Relaxing and quiet"

10.0

This place was pretty nice. The villas are situated in a square around the pool (that was massive), and the restaurant. There really isn't anything within walking distance, but the resort had everything I wanted on the grounds. The staff were all great, and the room was spacious. Planning to go back this summer.

"LiteNo idea how this place scores more than 2.5 stars"

4.0

The poor experience started after a tedious 30 minute check in process when we were shown to our rooms at 16:45 (4:45pm) and the door opened and the room was in an awful state. We were told to wait just 20 minutes and it would be in order. 20 minutes later still untouched. We had to call the front desk twice and wait another 20 minutes before anyone came to clean the room. The room: The rooms are decisively old (and as a european I don’t usually mean that in a bad way, but in this case I do). A single bedside plug, extremely poor internet connection, everything soft is stained and every hard surface is scratched. I won’t even go into detail about the bathroom, but it wasn’t pleasant. Service: this is where the resort seriously looses points. Unfortunately my friend fell sick and we had to spend a whole day in the hotel. I tried to call room service food and it never arrived. When we wanted to go to the hospital we called the front desk to send a golf cart (advertised as a complementary service) to help pick us up from the room, same as the food it never arrived so we asked our driver to pick us up directly inside the resort but despite his protestations about picking up a sick client the hotel wouldn’t let him in. What’s more the room which wasn’t cleaned when we first arrived wasn’t cleaned a second time the second to last day, whereas our friends room was. F&B: 1. Complementary breakfast: a massive overcrowded free-for-all buffet with a fair amount of queue cutting and pushing occurring. One day a waitress took our order for coffee but the rest of the time we just had to get it ourselves. Also no western breakfast food to be seen besides broiled spam and two types of cereal. Noodles weren’t bad if that floats your boat though. 2. Poolside bar: waiters were willing to bring your order, just not to come take it. Paying was horrid, the first day they told us it was too late (at sunset) to charge it to the room and they only take cash and when I tried to go collect money from the room the waiter tried to follow us the entire way to our door. We eventually managed to charge some things to the room and when check-out came, of course, it didn’t add up. When I pointed it out the front dest was unable to produce receipts and it took 30 minutes to set it straight and check out! Pool: this is a massive part of staying in an out of town resort and the pool itself isn’t bad, but the sunbeds are all, without exception dirty with tree sap and bird excrements and every other towel is frayed or bloodstained (yes, I had to trade in 2 bloodstained towels). The blaring Chinese pop music (why??) was salt on the wound. All-in-all, at least it wasn’t very expensive but it was aweful. Go to Cambodia, go to Siem Reap, but stay in another hotel.

"Probably not a 5 star"

6.0

The experience was mediocre right from the start when the pick up wasn’t on time, then the room allotted had to be changed twice as the first room allotted was supposed to have some known pipe issues, the second room allotted was already occupied! When room service was ordered, the used soup bowl wasn’t removed for two days! Room service cleaning was requested but didn’t happen till the evening where the staff had to be reminded.

"great service!"

8.0

Service was amazing! Stayed in one of the rooms in the new villa. Even though it’s new, there’s some signs of wear and tear. I’d recommend staying here if you don’t mind the extra distance from the centre of Siem Reap!

"Unsatisfying and not recommended"

6.0

It found that the bed sheet and quilt cover didn’t change at all. The floor is so dirty as I found dead inserts on the floor. I have requested late check out when I checked in and it has confirmed. On my last day, I got disturbed from the door knock twice by the staff to check my checking out time which is so annoying and I can’t rest well. I was out for sunrise and it disturbed me to rest.

Swimming pool was murky. It’s a bit rundown I would give it a four star rating but is peaceful and the staff are very nice. Love the setup of the whole hotel you feel like your in the forest.
