The Ritz Hotel at Garden Oases

We were expecting more, based on the reviews, and the Ritz Brand name. There was no "wow" factor here, its just an old, used hotel. The standard room is nothing special and for less money we've stayed at much nicer, newer resorts in Mindanao. That playground probably has never been painted since it opened. We didn't let our kid play there.

Raymond on reception was excellent. Him and the other staff couldn't do enough to make my stay so comfortable. I have stayed at the Ritz Garden several times and it never disappoints. Clean and welcoming in a local and safe neighbourhood about half way between Gmall and Abreeza mall

Love staying here..... Close to Malls....rooms are comfortable .....staff friendly.... Food affordable.....stayed many times now.

At check in there was no personal so had to wait 20 min. The room was dirty as well as the bathroom and the TV didn´t work. A call to the reception didn´t help the situation so went to bed very disappointed. This morning we went for breakfast but was told it was not included even it said so on Hotels.com and at the same time there was only 3 dishes. In total a really bad hotel and bad service. Will definetely not stay there there again.

First when we checked in our room was not ready. Second the hotel has us booked for three rooms when I only booked for one room with breakfast included. Third the hotel said that I did not book for breakfast included and refused to honor my booking. When this initially happened, I asked to speak to a manager and the front desk person refused my request. It took me two days to speak to a manager and the manager refused to honor my reservation and my family and I ended up paying for breakfast separately.

I booked ahead of time. But when I checked in they didn't have the any room available. I was given a smaller room than what I paid for. They did move me the next day to an upgraded room. Which I didn't really need. I just wanted the room that I paid for from the start.

I told a number of people out of all the hotels I stayed in Davao, Ritz was the worst.

Great Hotel and Great Location. Clean pool, Rooms, and Gardens.

Generally, the was good. The ambience made the stay memorable. The only disadvantage that I could think of was the unavailability of WiFi access inside the room where I stayed.
