Owner was lovely and room was clean. Nice to be able to park at front of property. Only 5 minutes walk from Castle or town

Bedroom and particularly shower room very small. All floors creaked badly, and walls thin, so lots of noise. Soft mattress that leaned into middle

Location of Guest House. Welcoming and friendly manner of the host, Jo. Good value for price.

Room was hot, but it was hot weather.

Location central for Alnwick. Jo was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was large enough as it was the family room with an extra single bed. Coffee, tea, milk supplies and a fridge in the room.

Free parking was at the Plough Inn opposite, very tight for larger cars to get through the archways. The family bedroom (No.4) needed a good deep clean, dust and hoover in all the corners etc and the ensuite needs a refit, flooring uneven, lots of sealant even inside on the floor of shower enclosure tray. Not much room to sit on the toilet as it’s right next to the basin, we are slight so for anyone larger it would be a squeeze.

The owner Jo was lovely; very friendly and welcoming. The location was great; easy access to pubs, restaurants and local amenities. Easy to park; as Jo has an arrangement with local pubs, and her guests can use their parking facilities.

Unfortunately, the standard of cleanliness in the room was poor. Bins in bedroom and shower room not emptied daily. No sign of hygiene in the shower room. The shower room was very cramped.

Friendly hostess. convenient location - near A1 and town centre. Good size room.

fabulous location plus parking on site. Lovely bright comfortable room with lovely outlook. spotlessly clean and they made sure there were sufficient towels and tea/coffee each day. There was everything we could need. can't wait until our next visit.
